Book Challenge So Far

blanca

I am very happy to say that I am ahead of schedule with this challenge, which is great because I have some larger books that I want to read and I need that cushion. I have completed both Blanca Peak and La Plata Peak and I have my sights set on Mount Rainer. If I could have that completed by the end of this month that would be amazing…but I am not sure if that is going to be a realistic.  I seriously love reading but I am hoping to get some other stuff done this month, so we will see.

Because of the snow storm I have gotten a few books completed already and just have to finish writing the reviews. The might mean that the next few books will only have the review because I didn’t have time to post their backgrounds in advance. Hopefully in the next few days I can get those reviews up.

While this snow storm sucked really bad, I am really happy that I was able to get a little ahead on my reading.  This challenge really is pushing me to have a good rotation of books going. Last year I read a decent amount of books but that was honestly because my library was having a Summer reading challenge. I am very competitive and wanted to get all of the prizes 🙂 . Seriously guys, if you enjoy reading don’t forget about your local libraries. They will save your wallet and sometimes they have some fun stuff going on.

So, anyway I am going to do my best to try and read a few more books this month and just keep moving forward with this challenge. I have some fun books lined up and some darker and grittier books lined up as well, can’t wait to get these puppies read!
