My next reading selection was actually picked by my husband. I told him I was looking for a horror book that wasn’t written by Stephen King and was having a hard time. Now, my husband is not a reader by any stretch of the imagination but he did have a book suggestion for me. He had this book for a very long time and has held onto it. He said that the book was really messed up but was written really well, so he kept it all these years.
He did warn me that the book was pretty dark but that it would fulfill my criteria for my next book. I’m actually really excited to read a book that he has read and talk about it. You don’t understand, he does not enjoy reading. He even quotes a line from the show New Girl “I am not convinced I know how to read, I just memorized a bunch of words”, so for him to suggest a book is major. So here you go, this is my next selection. The book is old enough that you should be able to get it at your library. Happy reading!
