Revenger Amber Fang by Arthur Slade

3 out of 5 hoots

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and while I wish I could give it 5 stars I cannot. I feel that the book had a lot of potential but it just was not a homerun for me.

The book is about a vampire librarian who was searching for her mother. Apparently, her mother and other female vampires were being captured and experimented on. I really expected a lot from this book because the concept seemed in interesting but it really just did not keep my focus.

There was a lot of action right from the start but it was really hard for me to care about Amber. The characters were somewhat interesting but I just could not get into it. The only reason that this is not a 2 star book is because I found some of the action scenes to be entertaining and there were even a couple of times where I did laugh. Honestly those portions of the book were written very well. I just really really really wished that Amber was a lot more interesting. Yeah she was strong but I don’t know. There was just something about her that I couldn’t get into. This might be a great vampire book for someone else but it just missed the mark for me.

Author:

I love reading all kinds of books but have no one to share them with....that was until now. My favorite genre's are: Cozy mysteries, Fantasy, Horror, and thrillers.
