I am probably the biggest geek you will ever meet! Seriously, once upon a time I was a professional Jawa! I love Firefly, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Hello Kitty, Unicorns, Greek Myths, and of course books….all of the books! What can I say? I just love being able to jump into different worlds with the power of my imagination.
Getting To Know The Owl
It has been a while since I have written anything but I have felt the itch. I had another blog that I kept going for a while, eunicakes.wordpress.com but my interests changed. I then decided to start a different blog based on books and the goal of reading 35 books in a year. That was a good year for reading…yes I hit that goal but I had trouble keeping up with my blog, I changed jobs, and well here I am again. This time a have a goal and a plan π So, I am going to share my love of books with anyone that cares to read this.
What’s in a name?
My husband’s grandmother was a very important part of my life and she loved owls. I remember when I wrote my first blog (not book related) she thought it was so neat! I don’t think she fully understood what it was but she was fully on board with it. Flash forward a few years later to when I decided I wanted to start a blog again and I needed a name. So what did I do? I decided to name the blog Owl’s Book Nest to honor her. I think she would have gotten a kick out of it.
